The museum has acquired works from 13 artists across the world, including popular NFTs like CryptoPunk #110 and Autoglyph #25.
The director of the French National Museum of Modern Art, Xavier Rey, notes that the museum is “pursuing its interest in digital art, in connection with the blockchain” and supports artists in their exploration of new means of expression, which is at the heart of modern art.
