IMPT is a new green cryptocurrency that has now raised nearly $13 million for its plans to completely revolutionise the carbon credit market via blockchain technology.
The presale of crypto has been selling extremely quickly and has attracted many investors from all over the world, including industry giants such as Netflix and Microsoft.
The IMPT whitepaper says: “We tokenise carbon credits, so users receive them in the form of NFTs… When the user retires carbon credits, burned NFTs are sent to a null address, ultimately eliminating their NFTs from circulation… Moreover, when users retire their carbon credits, they receive unique NFTs created by artists. The users can trade these NFTs on the marketplace.”
Currently the price of the IMPT token is being sold at the price of $0.023, but this will rise to $0.028 at the next stage of the presale, given that the presale is being conducted in a series of stages.
IMPT is based on the Ethereum blockchain. In total, there will be three billion IMPT, of which 15% will be invested in the ecosystem, 5% will go to the team behind the platform, 10% will be spent on marketing and another 10% will go to early adopters.
