How many cryptocurrencies are there? Estimated that there are more than 4,500 different cryptocurrencies in circulation. Even though all of them are called currency, in fact there are different types of assets, including non-currency. Find out what blockchain assets exist:

🔸 Blockchain economies (commodities) – they are used to describe a traded or interchangeable asset that may represent a commodity, function, or contract in the real or virtual world using special coins.Blockchain Economies include Ethereum (ETH), Tron (TRX), NEO (NEO), etc.
🔸 Stablecoins – their volatility is minimized by pegging to a stable asset, such as the dollar or gold (they always have the same price). Stablecoins include Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Paxos (PAX), Gemini (GUSD), etc.
🔸 Privacy coins – they don’t show transaction amounts for each transaction as well as wallet address balances. Crypto assets like Monero (XMR), ZCash (ZEC), PIVX (PIVX), and so on are examples of Privacy Coins.
